The goal of the dashboard redesign was to improve retention — specifically, increasing the share of users who connected a bank account during setup and continued engaging with the financial dashboard by day 7 and beyond. Achieving this would indicate product-market fit for our financial services in Europe.
In addition, the old dashboard looked outdated and underperformed compared to European competitors, making it harder to meet user expectations.
Our users come from diverse backgrounds — from solo freelancers to early-stage startups and international founders. Each group faces its own context and challenges, but they share the same critical need: managing company finances in a clear, reliable way that supports daily decision-making

In the revenue section, I added monthly income, last month’s results, average revenue, and expected incoming payments. Both revenue and expenses sections now include last transactions, a revenue comparison chart, category breakdowns, and top-5 lists (clients and expenses). On the overview, I refined the layout and improved the net cash flow visualization, giving users a cleaner, more reliable view of their company’s finances at a glance
Testing validated the redesigned dashboard as cleaner and more intuitive to use. I finalized the solution, refined the financial sections, and prepared it for launch.
After release, the redesign delivered the following impact:
